Maheshwari sarees originate from the town of Maheshwar on the banks of the Narmada river in Madhya Pradesh — a weaving tradition established in the 18th century under Queen Ahilya Bai Holkar, who brought weavers from Surat and Malwa to create a signature textile for her court.
Every Golden Raiment saree is designed and woven by Nimkar Handloom — master weavers carrying this tradition forward. A single saree takes up to a week to complete on a handloom, with no two pieces ever identical.
Each saree is woven by hand and takes up to a week to complete. Every piece you see is crafted with intention — not mass-produced.
Once the original packaging is opened, sarees cannot be returned or exchanged. We encourage you to take your time during your viewing.
We do not operate a walk-in store. All viewings are private and by appointment only — ensuring you receive our undivided attention.
